Wisconsin Dells, WI – The Dellshire Resort is poised to bring fresh excitement to Wisconsin Dells as it is scheduled to open its doors in spring 2026. Marking the first significant new resort development in decades, this ambitious project is expected to create numerous job opportunities while enticing visitors from all across the country.

The development team celebrated a major construction milestone recently with a topping off ceremony. Spanning 48 acres and located at 2255-2325 Wisconsin Dells Parkway, the resort will feature a luxurious four-story hotel with a total of 208 rooms, including nine spacious suites. Among its attractions, guests can look forward to enjoying six indoor and outdoor pools, highlighted by a unique 60-foot fire-breathing dragon – a centerpiece designed to capture the imagination of families.

The resort will also incorporate a cutting-edge augmented reality attraction to enhance guest experiences. Complementing these accommodations are two on-site restaurants with a combined seating capacity of 350, as well as various bars and retail shops. The design includes a versatile meeting space that can accommodate up to 280 guests, making it an appealing choice for both leisure and business travelers alike.

A family entertainment center will occupy 9,000 square feet, featuring amusement rides sure to delight visitors of all ages. Guests will also have the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the natural surroundings from a scenic tree canopy walk, which is set to be a highlight for nature enthusiasts.

Virginia-based Uphoff Ventures leads the development of the Dellshire Resort, with JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group overseeing the construction financing. Financing has been secured through a combination of private lenders and a commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) lender, ensuring adequate resources for this significant investment.

The construction is being managed by Kraemer Brothers, a reputable firm based in Plain, Wisconsin. The expected completion of the project is slated for the second quarter of 2026, as the team works diligently to bring this vision to fruition.

This new addition to Wisconsin Dells aims to fill the gap in family-oriented accommodations in a region famously recognized as the “Waterpark Capital of the World,” which draws approximately 5.5 million visitors each year. The strategic location of the resort near major cities like Chicago and Minneapolis is expected to drive consistent visitor traffic and increase overnight stay rates in the area.

The Dellshire Resort is more than just a new lodging option; it’s an investment in the local economy and an enhancement of Wisconsin Dells’ reputation as a premier travel destination. This innovative project highlights the region’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional experiences for families and travelers seeking adventure and relaxation alike.
