Upon arrival, police discovered an unidentified male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Despite the efforts of first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. In light of the ongoing violence, homicide detectives have initiated an investigation into this shooting. In a related development, police also reported a separate shooting incident that occurred on September 30. In this case, a 45-year-old man named Devin Ash was arrested in connection with the death of 35-year-old Marlon Pugh. The shooting involving Pugh happened around 3:27 p.m. in the 3700 block of 5th Street, where officers found the victim suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. Pugh was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Devin Ash was taken into custody at his home without incident on October 1 and has since been charged with first-degree murder related to Pugh’s death. This increase in gun violence has raised concerns within the community as police continue their efforts to address the ongoing issue.

Furthermore, Baltimore police have identified 64-year-old Dennis Dorsch as another victim of a fatal shooting in South Baltimore that occurred earlier on July 19. Dorsch was killed in the 1500 block of Olmstead Street. Homicide detectives are currently investigating this case as well and are actively seeking additional information from the public to aid in their inquiries.
