Indianapolis is gearing up to host the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game for the first time, featuring the best female basketball talents. The festivities will include skills challenges, fan engagement events, and live performances. Team captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier will lead their respective teams, with a weekend full of activities planned for fans, making this a landmark event for the city.
Indianapolis is set to host the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025, marking a significant milestone as this will be the first time the city has hosted this prestigious event. The All-Star Game will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, July 19, 2025, showcasing the best talents in women’s basketball.
The All-Star festivities will kick off with a 3-point contest and a skills challenge on July 18 at 8 p.m. ET, which will be broadcasted on ESPN. Fans will then gather for the All-Star Game itself, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on July 19, with the game airing live on ABC.
The excitement around the event has been amplified by the announcement of team captains. Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, who received 1,293,526 votes, and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, with 1,176,020 votes, were named captains on June 30. Their teams’ rosters will be announced on July 8, with Clark selecting fellow teammate Aliyah Boston as the first overall pick and Collier choosing Breanna Stewart as her second pick. The teams will be coached by Sandy Brondello and her New York Liberty staff for Clark’s team, while Cheryl Reeve and the Lynx staff will lead Collier’s team. Clark’s team will sport gradient uniforms, while Collier’s will wear black.
The weekend will also feature various events designed to engage fans. The fourth annual WNBA Live fan event will be hosted at the Indiana Convention Center on July 18-19, blending basketball with entertainment and culture. The event will include opportunities for meet and greets with athletes, panel discussions, and basketball contests. Fans can navigate the activities through the WNBA Events App, available on both Apple and Google app stores.
Additionally, on July 19, Fever Fest will be held at the Everwise Amphitheater, featuring performances by notable artists such as The Kid LAROI, Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, Aida Rodriguez, G-Eazy, BIA, and 803Fresh, hosted by Deon Cole. Following the performances, an All-Star watch party will commence at 8:30 p.m., allowing fans to enjoy the game together.
Moreover, a WISE-er Symposium, focusing on mentorship and leadership for women, will occur on July 18, featuring Candace Parker as the keynote speaker and a panel of female WNBA presidents. In addition, the event will include youth activities, such as dribbling events for kids and clinics led by former players.
Beyond the basketball-centric events, Indianapolis will host additional arts and culture events, presenting family-friendly activities and exhibitions that highlight women and girls in sports, further enriching the All-Star experience for attendees.
