Baltimore MD is well known for the high-quality education that it offers. Johns Hopkins University is one of the most popular universities in Baltimore MD.

Baltimore MD Schools provide excellent academic programs at all grade levels. Greater Baltimore Maryland is served by Baltimore City Public Schools as well as surrounding county school districts such as Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, and Howard County. The neighborhood is also served by various private and parochial schools. Parents should sign a release form at their child’s school prior to transferring in order for student records to be transferred to the new school district or private school. To enter first grade in Maryland, children must be six years old on or before September 1st. Children who have finished first grade in another state with a different age requirement are exempt. Children must be five years old on or before September 1 to begin kindergarten.
